Here are the instructions. Fill this out about your SENIOR year of high school! The longer ago it was, the more fun the answers will be!
1. Did you date someone from your school?
At the beginning of my Senior year I was dating a guy from my school. That relationship ended and I started dating the guy I ended up marrying/divorcing
2. Did you win anything in Senior’s ‘Who’s Who’?
No
3. What kind of car did you drive?
My parent's blue 1978(?) Ford onversion van
4. It’s Friday night…where are you?
During football season I was at the football games. After that for a while I was at work at Sonic, then I was sitting with my boyfriend while he was working at the local pool hall.
5. Were you a party animal?
Nope, I was a good little girl.
6. Were you considered a flirt?
Nope. I didn't know how....I learned later, though.
7. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir?
I was in the flag corp. with the marching band, then later I hurt people's ears with my attempted clarinet playing.
8. Were you a nerd?
Nope. But I wasn't at all popular, either.
9. Did you get suspended/expelled?
Nope. Like I said I was a good little girl.
10. Can you sing the fight song?
Nope, couldn't back then either.
11. Who were your favorite teachers?
Ms. Laymann (she tought Bible---in a public school!) and Ms. Peeples (English and Bookkeeping---maybe that was my Junior year)
12. Where did you sit during lunch?
In the lunch room, second table from the right and close to the front; I sat near the center of the room.

Pontotoc High School

Warriors
15. Were you on homecoming court?
Nope.
16. If you could go back and do it again, would you?
Nope.
17. What do you remember most about graduation?
The guy that sat next to me kept complaining about how long the whole ceremony was taking. He wanted to just leave so he could go get drunk. He made me so mad---I wanted to hear the speeches and the music. He made it impossible.
18. Where did you go senior skip day?
I don't know. I wasn't included.
20.Were you in any clubs?
Nope.
25. Who was your Senior prom date?
Since our school did not allow dances we had a Jr./Sr. Banquet. The school also would not allow anyone that was not a Jr. or Sr. of our school to attend. So, my bff (Mary Jane) and I went together while our boyfriend's waited outside for us in my parent's van.
26. Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion?
I did go to my 10 year reunion, and my 15 year reunion---if there was a 20 and/or a 25 I never heard about them.

Nope.

That's okay. I knew I was taking a chance when I tagged you and one or two others.
Have a great day! :)
Isn't it wonderful to have good memories of teachers? they can make such a difference in our lives.
Proms--- gah. They weren't anywhere near as big a deal as they are now. Limos? Prom weekends? Nah.
Graduation -- Oh! that's a shame that guy was so annoying - it would maybe have been a nicer memroy for you. All I recall is the sweating....it was soooooooooooooooo hot and we had those big robes on.
Marching band!! Yay!!! I was origianlly supposed to be a music teachir and that was one of the perks I thought I'd have- to be able to set up a marching bacd somewhere- loved watching them! Clarinet-- do you still play?
**blushing** Thank you!
I'm 44. Most days I don't feel it, some days I feel like I'm much older and when asked how old I am; I usually have to stop and think because my first response for years has been to say '26'. So, when I finally do stutter out my age people tend not to believe me: "Really? No way---I would have guessed you to be about 36 or so." heh, a year ago I got carded when I bought my husband a pack of cigarrettes...now THAT felt good.
No, I don't play anymore. I was never any good. I couldn't read music and I was unable to play the higher notes with it. I 'loaned' my clarinet to my then-nephew and he never returned it to me. Since I divorced his uncle and Greg was killed in a car wreck 12.5 years ago I know I'll never see it again.
