That's it...it's over...time to start anew.
The deal on the house is officially off. She's getting her earnest money back on our house and we are getting ours back on the house down in Tuscaloosa.
Time to get the house show ready again. Although now is a hard time for it...I have to bring my houseplants in and soon I will have Christmas decorations out. These things tend to make the house look more 'cluttered' and smaller but I refuse to give up my Christmas. I gave up my Halloween because I was expecting to just be moving. I burnt out on this whole business. Off and on for four+ years. It gets old.
Oh, do you want to know why the lawyer wouldn't sign off on the contract or even draft a new one? Because: "That Ward guy is a cheat." Mr. Ward even went down to the lawyers office and they had a screaming/yelling match about the whole thing. So, because Doris won't go with a different lawyer she is stuck trying to sell 27 acres of land that she and her husband are now to old and disabled to keep up. She's already sold all of her animals (I have no idea what kind of animals...) and packed her house (trailer) up to move.

No, no Trick or Treater's. We've lived here for five years and haven't had one, yet. We live in the country, on a dead end street and Jordan is the youngest 'kid' here. Besides, high school football rules around here and since Halloween is on a Friday this year---there really won't be many people handing out candy much less little ones running door to door.
We're going to a Halloween party hosted by Jordan's karate school.
I hope next year we will be somewhere else.
