The new house and the new furniture!
Check it out. I made time this morning to snap a few pictures of the new furniture in the new house.
Looks great doesn't it? Dont you just love the way I managed to not get any boxes in the pictures? The mantel place is a bit cluttered with stuff that we need to find homes for but overall I think I managed to project a nice clean clutter free home.
This is the family room. On the other side of that red wall is the kitchen.
Chris thinks we need a bigger TV as the credenza makes this one look too small.
My ficus tree is loving the morning light that comes through this window.
This bar table is a little bigger than Chris thought it would be. But we're making it work. We've eaten supper at it every night since we've moved in. I like it a LOT better than eating off of TV trays.
The new bed is awesome! We had to make extra support for the mattress and box springs, but it sleeps wonderfully.
That dresser/mirror combo is extremely heavy and about a half an inch too long to fit perfectly snug between the two windows. But, if I hadn't mentioned it, you wouldn't notice it.
This armour is beautiful and fits the room like it was made for it. I love being able to close up the doors and hide the TV if I want to.
Jordan's room. Nothing new here, except he finally has 'boy/teen' bedding of his own choice.
He is loving having 'his' computer in his room. Spoiled? Jordan? No! Just because he has a computer, a TV, a PSP, a PlayStation 2 and a something else does not mean BoyWonder is spoiled.
After all---he has to share this bathroom with guests. AND he's responsible for keeping it clean. We're thinking black rugs to pull in the black from the shower curtain and the faucet and to 'boy' it up a bit---what do you think?
