Here are the instructions. Fill this out about your SENIOR year of high school! The longer ago it was, the more fun the answers will be!
1. Did you date someone from your school?
At the beginning of my Senior year I was dating a guy from my school. That relationship ended and I started dating the guy I ended up marrying/divorcing
2. Did you win anything in Senior’s ‘Who’s Who’?
No
3. What kind of car did you drive?
My parent's blue 1978(?) Ford onversion van
4. It’s Friday night…where are you?
During football season I was at the football games. After that for a while I was at work at Sonic, then I was sitting with my boyfriend while he was working at the local pool hall.
5. Were you a party animal?
Nope, I was a good little girl.
6. Were you considered a flirt?
Nope. I didn't know how....I learned later, though.
7. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir?
I was in the flag corp. with the marching band, then later I hurt people's ears with my attempted clarinet playing.
8. Were you a nerd?
Nope. But I wasn't at all popular, either.
9. Did you get suspended/expelled?
Nope. Like I said I was a good little girl.
10. Can you sing the fight song?
Nope, couldn't back then either.
11. Who were your favorite teachers?
Ms. Laymann (she tought Bible---in a public school!) and Ms. Peeples (English and Bookkeeping---maybe that was my Junior year)

Nope.
16. If you could go back and do it again, would you?
Nope.
17. What do you remember most about graduation?
The guy that sat next to me kept complaining about how long the whole ceremony was taking. He wanted to just leave so he could go get drunk. He made me so mad---I wanted to hear the speeches and the music. He made it impossible.
18. Where did you go senior skip day?
I don't know. I wasn't included.
20.Were you in any clubs?
Nope.
25. Who was your Senior prom date?
Since our school did not allow dances we had a Jr./Sr. Banquet. The school also would not allow anyone that was not a Jr. or Sr. of our school to attend. So, my bff (Mary Jane) and I went together while our boyfriend's waited outside for us in my parent's van.
26. Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion?
I did go to my 10 year reunion, and my 15 year reunion---if there was a 20 and/or a 25 I never heard about them.

Nope.

Nope
-Describe your outfits
My favorite brand of pants were the SaddleBacks by Gitano (I didn't wear blue jeans until I was 16 and had a job that required them) my favorite jacket was a satin jacket that I bought with my own money---I still remember getting a stain on it while it was still pretty new...who knew apples could be juicy enough to drip juice?
- Did you even have a cellphone
I'm not even sure cellphones were around back then.
- What was the best about 9th grade?
Being boy crazy, a different crush a week and my bff Cindy.
- Do you miss it?
Sort of---but not really

The rules: Each player answers the questions about themselves. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5-6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know they’ve been tagged and asking them to read your blog. Let the person who tagged you know when you’ve posted your answer.
[The common "house" rule in much of my Neighborhood for these sorts of posts is to allow an open door policy-- rather than tag specific people, there is an open invitation to answer.]
1) What were you doing ten years ago? I was a Stay at Home Mom that also watched a neighborhood boy. Jordan was 2.5 and Max would turn 1 in June. We were settling into a new house, bought across the street from the one we had been renting so we could stay on the cul-de-sac. I was loving life and really enjoying the time I was able to spend with 'my boys'. With in a few months my sister-in-law (who had been living with us) would move to Boston and I would start watching another little boy. It was a great time in my life full of love and friends. I was not yet addicted to the internet; that would come in 1999.
2) Five (non-work) things on my to-do list for today: Laundry, making a list of things to take on my trip to Houston, taking Jordan to Karate, go to the post office to buy stamps, and feed the cat, dogs, and dragon.

4) Things I would do if I were a billionaire: Buy a bigger house, pay back my Dad, find a constructive way to help my brothers improve their lives while not having them feel like charity cases. Once I was settled in the bigger house I/we would adopt a bunch of children....maybe a sibling group, or maybe several children of different ages. I would want at least one baby so I could start all over again from scratch. I'd invest, donate to certain charities that help children and/or animals.
5) Places I have lived: Portsmouth, VA; Groton, CT; Newington, NH; South Berwick, ME; Anahiem, CA; Tupelo, MS (six different houses/apartments); Pontotoc, MS (5 different houses); Southern Pines, NC; Spring, TX (two houses); Villa Ridge, MO; Itty Bitty P!ss Ant Town, AL (two houses).
6) Jobs I have had: Car Hop at Sonic, Swing Manager at McDonald's, Little bit of everything at Wal~Mart, Stay at Home Mom/home day care Mom, Technical support/Customer Service rep at a call center, Current job---QA person with a financial data base company.

I was tagged by Useta who had some interesting things to share about herself. Since I am pretty much an open book, I'm not sure if there is anything that I haven't shared at one time or another.
1. I was in the band/color guard in Jr. High and High School. I can not for the life of me carry a beat or a tune. I can't read music and would have to take my music sheets home in order to pencil in the right notes. The clarinet was my instrument of torture. My high school band was not good. Our own class-mates boo-d us and threw ice on us. It was sad.
2. I am scared of water/drowning. I had a near-drowning incident when I was 7 or 8 and ever since then I can't stand for water to be on my face. I don't do much swimming, although I love it....I'm always scared there will be rough housing and I'll get dunked. I don't let the water in the shower hit me in the face, either.
3. I never wanted to learn how to drive. My Mom didn't learn until she was 36-ish and I didn't see any reason why I needed to learn. My Dad told me if I didn't learn, I'd have to quit the band and any other extra-curricular activities as he and Mom were done driving me around. I was the only student in my driver's ed class to get 100's on the two different state tests required for new drivers. I did not have to learn how to parrallel park; at the age of 43 I still don't know how to do it.
Seven or eight...wow, this is getting really difficult.
4. I've been hospitalized for pnuemonia, strep throat, and for child-birth (twice). I've never (knock on wood) broken a bone. I've had out-patient surgery/procedures for: fertility issues (four times), an eeg (I kept passing out and they couldn't figure out why), two MRI's (both diagnosed severe sinus infections; one of which was causing the passing out) and to have a heart condition fixed.
5. I've never tried to play Nintendo, Wii, Xbox, or PlayStation.
6. I've seen a ghost. She was wearing a peach colored long flowing gown. She walked down the hall, through a corner, down another hall, and out through the front door. There have been many 'sightings' on the block in that neighborhood. One friend sees the door knob turning, but no one is there, she also feels the presence of someone in the kitchen with her when she knows she's the only one in the house; then there's the thumping up in the attic. Yet another friend witnessed a man in a pale blue suit searching for something and having his hand being taken by an angel at which time they disappeared.
7. One of my most favorite things in the World is to rock and hold a baby until it is sound asleep and my arms are aching.
8. Sometimes I go out to pet my kitteh, even though I know I will have to take extra allergy medicine and a shower. I just always hope that once I'm in the shower I can start breathing easy again.
Okay, that's eight! Now I'm supposed to tag eight people, but I feel like most of my neighbors have been tagged, so here's the deal. Tag! You're it! if you haven't been tagged before you have now!!! Please share. If you have been tagged and haven't responded, shame on you! Its fun! Share already!! LOL!!
