Show us a glimpse of your neighborhood.
Submitted by [Susan].
The view of my neighborhood via satellite. The area outlined in black is my house/land....it's for sale, wanna buy it?
Show us your gorgeous eyes.
Submitted by [Susan].
I think they are my best feature. Too bad I can't wear contacts anymore. I have pretty bad astigmatism in my left eye.
Show us a photograph from a wedding.

This is Jordan all gussied up in a tux so he can be the ring bearer at his Aunt Mo's wedding. He was 7.
And here's the bride arriving at Boston Gardens ready for her wedding.
Show us your favorite comfort food.
Submitted by nosa.
What exactly is a 'comfort food'? Something I eat when I get stressed, depressed, or lonely? Something that I have to have in the house or I'm not comfortable---even if I go weeks or months w/o eating it? Perhaps it is something that as soon as I put it in my mouth I am greated with both "oh, yeah that's so good!" and "oh....that is so bad for your new healthy living lifestyle!" ?
The answer to each of these questions is a different food and/or food group. So, let me know what a 'comfort food' is and I'll see if I can come up with a picture.
Show us the most important thing on your desk.
Submitted by BlackLime.
Back in September I was having a really hard time with life and losses and just life in general. One day I opened my mail box and found this 'Snuggle Bunny' sitting there waiting to become a loved fixture in my life.
Right now, this is the most important thing on my desk. A daily reminder that I touch more lives in cyber-space than I do IRL. A daily reminder that I am important in other people's lives, not just the people that are physically in my life. A daily reminder that there is awesome-ness in the World and on occasion it is directed towards me.
Thanks Lindsey!!!
Show us something you're allegic to.
I have to assume you mean allergic.
OC...I'm allergic to all kitty cats*. OC (Outside Cat) deserves to be a much loved and much pampered inside kitty. But, I am so allergic that I have to wash really well (sometimes a shower) and change clothes after petting her....she has to stay outside. Oh, and in case you are wondering why we have her in the first place---if we didn't adopt her she was doomed for 'the needle' the next day.
*How allergic you may ask....I take Zyrtec and Flonase on a daily basis. Even with those allergy medicines I will break out in a rash, I can swell up, and start wheezing and have trouble breathing. I'm *that* allergic.
Show us something that's been dyed.
Ever since I married into Chris's family my mother-in-law has dyed us blown Easter Eggs. After Jordan was born she showed me how to do it and I've been blowing and dying eggs ever since. I kept them all nice and snug and safe wrapped up in easter grass and boxes between Easters. Last year we moved a bunch of stuff to a storage room; including all of my Easter decorations. Unfortunately somebody stole all of them....including my eggs.
My Mother-in-law dug through her collection of blown eggs and gave me some of hers. Also, last year, I made sure to dye plenty of others to restart my collection. This is a couple of pics of my new collection:
Show us something green!
Fun! I was going to share these pictures anyway!!
I spent yesterday cleaning up the front porch, bringing the houseplants outside, and repotting several of them. I even shared with my neighbor as I have way too many for my porch. Not only that, but I have to think about space in the house come next winter when I have to bring them in again.
I split up some of the Spider plant, and potted some of the babies. I gave the neighbor a spider plant and I now have one in the house two hanging outside and two in the window on the porch. I split up some of the mother-in-laws tongue and gave it to the neighbor. I split up some of my Peace lillies, too. Gave a couple to the neighbor and have enough for one Peace Lily in every room of my house.
The ponytail plant is getting old, I think its about ten years old. I should do a Google search to see if they ever get flowers on them. My Christmas cactus is very old--it was my Grandma's for years. It didn't bloom this year, I think it was because we didn't water enough last summer. It's pretty big and should probably be repotted; either into a much bigger pot or broken up into some smaller pots.
